What You'll Do

1. Assist maintenance personnel when requested/needed
2. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety rules and regulations, including proper PPE usage
3. Be alert to unsafe conditions and report them immediately
4. Effectively communicate production issues, concerns, and needs
5. Ensure equipment inspection reports are completed each shift
6. Carry out tasks and activities assigned by operations support management safely and promptly
7. Perform minor/routine maintenance or repairs as needed independently
8. Suggest work method improvements for continuous improvement
9. Maintain daily housekeeping duties in the work area
10. Troubleshoot work-related problems using knowledge, experience, and communication
11. Understand start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures

What You'll Need

1. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
2. Ability to work in conditions with temperature extremes, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated areas, and confined spaces
3. Basic computer skills
4. Dependability in attendance and work completion, with flexibility for business needs
5. Quick learner and multitasker
6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
7. Some overtime required
8. Work on a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays
