At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Production Operator based in Jacksonville!

Production Operator ensures the highest quality product is being produced through various automated machine processes. Additionally, solves a multitude of problems that arise and cleans all equipment through CIP and SIP. Finally, follows all safety procedures as stated in GMP, safety standards, plant rules, and code of ethics.






About You




Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge:

    • Knows all the safety rules, plant rules, GMP, and code of ethics and follows them strictly at all time.

    Skills:

    • Ability to read, and interpret data from charts, graphs, and instruments, and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to identify any digressions
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
    • Ability to use calculator to solve basic formulas
    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, schedules, ingredients, recipes, safety procedures, emergency procedures, chemicals labels, graphs, charts, reports, and computer monitors
    • Ability to effectively communicate specific information using verbal and simple hand signals to team members, leads, customers, supervisors, and state officials in a noisy environment

    Abilities:

    • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Ability to work with others, to complete regulatory duties.
    • Ability to multi-task and time-manage themselves.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to perform small repairs to machinery.
    • Ability to strategically think in terms of process improvement.
    • Able to think quickly on their feet, especially in emergency situations.
    • Ability to add and complete work from other processors as needed.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • Forklift OSHA certification on stand-up forklift
