Production Operator - 1st Shift, Chemical Plant

GCHI Giant Cement Holding, Inc. is seeking immediate placement for Production Operators at Giant Resource and Recovery (GRR)- Attalla. With over 30 years of experience, GRR provides safe hazardous waste disposal solutions by recycling various wastes into fuel for cement kilns and offering alternative waste processing services.

Job Description

The responsibilities of these roles include:

1. Unloading trucks with chemicals.
2. Operating forklifts to move drums, pallets, and containers.
3. Repacking materials into roll-off containers and tankers.
4. Sorting aerosol containers for processing.
5. Sampling incoming materials.
6. Completing daily paperwork.
7. Maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to compliance regulations.

Qualifications

• Good work ethic and team player attitude.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Wearing appropriate PPE and following safety rules.
• Strong communication skills.
