Job Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for various duties related to production and packaging operations.

Main Responsibilities / Duties

1. Coordinate with the Cell Lead on packaging requirements based on work orders.
2. Monitor and report shortages of packaging supplies.
3. Learn and adhere to customer packaging requirements.
4. Coordinate with the Shipping Team to stage finished materials.
5. Unload, check, and tag materials, measuring widths as needed.
6. Package materials according to specifications.
7. Understand customer requirements and material types.
8. Manage paperwork flow from slitter operations to inventory control.
9. Respond promptly to requests and reporting needs.
10. Ensure proper storage of materials, maintaining safety and space efficiency.
11. Enforce company policies and procedures.
12. Address non-conformance and damage issues immediately.
13. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
14. Report safety violations or unsafe conditions.
15. Identify and report process deficiencies.
16. Participate in training and safety sessions.
17. Assist in other operational areas as needed.
18. Learn and apply customer packaging specifications.
