This job involves performing various pipe threading, cutting, and finishing tasks, assisting with machine setup, and maintaining safety and quality standards in the shop environment.

Responsibilities

1. Apply thread lubricant or storage compound to threads as required.
2. Apply proper thread protectors to finished threads to prevent damage.
3. Operate cut-off saw to cut pipe ends or rejected threads as directed.
4. Manually drift pipe as required.
5. Perform shop cleanup as needed.
6. Perform abrasive blasting of threaded ends as required.
7. Assist machine operators with heavy tooling used when setting up machines.
8. Assist Shop Helper II in performing phosphate coating & buck on product preparation.
9. Follow all work instructions, specifications, and requirements.
10. Adhere to all company rules, procedures, policies, and safety regulations.
11. Perform any other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Production Operator.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 75 lbs.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to wear PPE daily to perform all job duties.
