Production Operator

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Manage daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
  • Complete quality and production reports hourly; conduct physical and visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods; report defects to the appropriate team members and leadership.
  • Follow safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations diligently.
  • Adhere to Niagara's GMP and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all production areas and other assigned areas.
  • Ensure adequate raw materials are available to minimize downtime.
  • Work in all assigned production areas, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief duties as required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, or as dictated by production needs.
