Job description

Title: Production Operator
Location: Burgettstown, PA
Schedule: M-F 7 AM- 3:30 PM
Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be a part of our client's production team as a Production Operator and support the production of inorganic color pigments that are used worldwide for coloring in numerous industries such as construction, paints & coatings and plastics.
  • Charge, blend and package pigments as instructed by the blend, repackaging, or packaging sheets.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make repairs commensurate with skill level.
  • Recognize defects in finished product such as lumps or streaking in finished product.
  • Prepare equipment for new blend by thoroughly cleaning to prevent cross contamination.
  • Complete all required company training.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • High degree of sensory attention and visual inspection of the product throughout the manufacturing process.
  • A valid driver license is required together with the successful completion of pre-employment drug and background checks
