Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator to manage daily operations on the production floor. You will ensure safety, quality, and throughput while complying with GMP and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include hourly reporting, visual and physical inspections, defect reporting, and maintaining housekeeping and material readiness for continuous production without excessive downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production line activities ensuring safety, quality and throughput.
• Complete hourly quality and production reports.
• Inspect product visually and physically to detect defects.
• Report defects to shift leadership and maintain GMP standards.

Job description

We are seeking a Production Operator to manage daily operations of the production floor, ensuring shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals while complying with all applicable legal and food‑safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
• Accurately complete applicable quality and production reports hourly.
• Perform physical and visual inspection of product to prevent non‑conforming goods.
• Report all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
• Adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Abide by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
• Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
• Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime.
• Demonstrate the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.
