Production Operator

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Your responsibilities include:

• Observing all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Applying quality instructions & specifications
• Monitoring production or packing operations to ensure quality objectives are met
• Loading/unloading material into & from equipment
• Working as a team member through sharing information, problem solving & assisting others
• Analyzing and troubleshooting machine or in-process product problems
• Utilizing basic computer & math skills

Your Skills and Expertise

Minimum qualifications include:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start
• 1 year of machine operation experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Ability to work differing shifts including 2nd or 3rd shifts on 8- or 12-hour schedules

Applicants may be required to take and pass 3M-elected testing during the selection process.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:

• Forklift and hoist operation experience
• Experience in SAP and PLC
