Puratos USA is seeking a Production Worker to operate manual and automatic material handling equipment, following GMPs, SOPs and quality standards to meet product requirements.

You must have a HS Diploma or GED, be able to lift 50–100 pounds regularly, and communicate clearly in English. Prior food production experience is a plus.

Hourly compensation ranges from $18.00 to $19.00, with overtime possible based on demand. Join a team dedicated to safety, sanitation and continuous improvement.

Description du poste

Observe all Pennant Ingredients GMP’s, SOP’s and standards. Operate manual , automatic and or material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, while maintaining high quality standards that meet or exceed Pennant and customer requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Learns, understands, and follows safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follows established SOPs to ensures product quality standards are met.
• Performs all tasks and duties required to ensure production and efficiency standards are met.
• Assists in other areas in production as needed.
• Performs lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 to 100 pounds regularly and stands for extended periods of time.
• Reports all general safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance issues to Production Supervisor
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas, machinery, and equipment.
• Communicates with supervisors and co-workers all information relevant to the manufacturing process.
• Ensures the proper set-up for the next shift and communicates with next shift.
• Overtime hours may be required based on work demand. Employee must be flexible with these hours.

Education Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED

Prior Knowledge/Experience

• Ability to lift, carry, and/or push up to 50 to 100 pounds consistently.
• Attention to detail, including tracking of batch codes, use of recipes, and following instructions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
• Prior food production experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation

Hourly compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $18.00 to $19.00
