Job summary

Staffmark in Charlotte, NC has a Production Operator role on 1st shift. You will operate and monitor equipment to produce optical and electro-optical medical products, prepare materials, and maintain quality.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years manufacturing, and ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Strong math and Excel/Word skills; associates degree preferred.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Operator in this role must have, or be able to learn, Windows based computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Word are required.

As a Production Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
