Job summary

Staffmark Group in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Production Operator for the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday) with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. You will operate and monitor equipment to produce optical and electro-optical medical products, prepare materials, follow work instructions, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Education: High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years manufacturing experience; basic math and blueprint reading; Windows with Excel/Word skills are preferred;

• Windows-based computer skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to produce high-quality optical and electro-optical products for medical applications.
• Prepare raw materials and maintain controlled process parameters to ensure quality and consistency of products.
• Perform inspections, measurements, and documentation in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Follow detailed work instructions, cleanroom practices and strict safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot process issues and support continuous process improvements.

Job Duties

Preferred Qualifications

• An associates degree or two-year technical degree is preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.


• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.


• Operator in this role must have, or be able to learn, Windows based computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
