Position Overview:

A Production Operator position in Burgettstown, PA is available through Belcan. This is a contract opportunity with a key chemical client. The role involves supporting the production of inorganic color pigments used worldwide in industries such as construction, paints & coatings, and plastics.

Responsibilities:

1. Charge, blend, and package pigments as instructed by the process sheets.
2. Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs as per skill level.
3. Identify defects in finished products, such as lumps or streaks.
4. Prepare equipment for new batches by thorough cleaning to prevent cross-contamination.
5. Complete all required company training.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• High sensory attention and visual inspection skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of pre-employment drug and background checks.
