Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Operative (Nights) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with the Company Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Policies, reporting any potentially dangerous issues to your Team Leader or Production Manager, including maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  2. Produce quality products in the required quantity, on time, and at the lowest possible cost, in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
  3. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards training and personal development.
  4. Monitor process performance to achieve maximum output.
  5. Carry out and document quality control checks, completing all production paperwork.
  6. Work as part of a team to meet departmental, company, and customer targets and deadlines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Adhere to correct procedures and complete documentation timely.
  • Follow safe working practices at all times and perform safety checks.
  • Ensure adherence to 5S standards in the department.
  • Transfer to other areas as needed.
  • Maintain machinery in good condition and report major issues.
  • Comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and relevant regulations.
  • Wear all PPE as required.
  • Engage in manual handling tasks, some of which may be heavy.

Skills/Experience:

  • Good numeracy and general education.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Manufacturing background and process understanding.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and keen eye for detail.
  • Focused on targets with proven results achievement.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
