Job summary

GetHired, Inc. seeks a versatile, hands-on manufacturing manager to support daily production operations, scheduling, customer communication, and overall efficiency. The role requires moving between the production floor, planning, customer requirements, and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate has experience supervising production in manufacturing, MRP proficiency, and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, with familiarity in plastic extrusion preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing or supervising production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• MRP experience for production planning, scheduling, inventory and customer requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and audits.
• Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production floor operations to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.
• Utilize the MRP system to coordinate customer requirements, planning, inventory, and scheduling.
• Monitor production progress and machine utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Work closely with customers regarding requirements, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Troubleshoot basic processing and production issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel to resolve problems.
• Coordinate routine preventative maintenance and ensure machinery remains in good operating condition.
• Support and train employees, including cross-training as needed.
• Take on additional operational responsibilities based on experience and company needs.
