Job summary

Coalition is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support daily operations, lead Shift Supervisors, and drive safety, quality, and productivity. You will mentor operators, participate in audits, and coordinate training programs to build a high-performing team.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Quality, Warehouse, and Production, and stepping in for the Production Manager as needed. A strong background in industrial manufacturing and people leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a batch chemical plant, petrochemical, refinery, industrial manufacturing, or similar.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with training, mentoring, coaching, or leading operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Shift Supervisors across all shifts to meet volume, productivity, and quality targets.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and accountability to production personnel.
• Direct staffing, priorities, and resources with the Production Manager.
• Lead safety, quality compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner on training programs and workforce development; support onboarding.
