Job summary

Vestis is a leading provider of uniforms and workplace supplies seeking a Production Manager to guide daily activities at our Roswell market center. You will ensure safety, cost efficiency, timeliness, and high quality while meeting production goals and profitability objectives.

Reporting to the Plant/General Manager, you will manage staff, optimize workflows, and collaborate with Market Center Management to uphold safety and standardized processes across safety, quality, and service goals.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education (two-years suggested) in Management or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/Technology, business or related discipline or equivalent business/work experience
• 2-4 years' experience in a corporate production environment with management experience included.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibility with documented business results
• Proven ability to build effective professional relationships cross-departmentally within a market center and corporate functional departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities at Market Center. Ensure processing takes place in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
• Activities to be managed include, but are not limited to: Receiving and soil sorting/classification; Wash aisle; Garment Finishing / Sortation; Allied Finishing; Bundling and distribution.
• Create and support a culture of adherence to market center standardization in support of safety, financial, quality, and service goals.
• Work with market center management to identify and implement systems and methods that will improve safety, operating efficiency and cost constraints.
