Reddit is hiring Machine Learning Engineers to design production ML systems powering recommendations, search, and ads. You will own the full ML lifecycle from problem definition to deployment and monitoring, collaborating with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to translate complex challenges into scalable ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating ML systems in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow; DL architectures like Transformers/CNNs.
• Experience designing scalable ML pipelines and model serving infrastructure.
• Ability to translate complex product problems into technical ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML models and systems at scale.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: problem definition, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build scalable data and model pipelines with reliability, observability, and retraining.
• Work with large-scale datasets to improve ranking, recommendations, search relevance, prediction, and understanding.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, DS, Infra, and Eng teams to translate problems into ML solutions.
• Improve system performance across latency, throughput, and model quality metrics.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art ML/AI techniques including LLMs.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and ML roadmap.
