• Ability to write and create articles, advertising copy, product content, and other marketing materials.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Ability to transform complex scientific information into clear, customer-focused marketing content.

Responsabilités

• Develop and produce marketing content and materials for print, digital, online advertising, and other channels.

A global biotechnology company in the Schaumburg, IL area is looking for a detail-oriented Production Marketing Specialist to support the development, creation, and production of marketing content and materials for biotechnology products and services. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional with a strong scientific background who can bridge the gap between science and marketing. This person should be comfortable understanding biotechnology products and services, researching scientific information, and turning that knowledge into high-quality articles, advertisements, promotional content, and marketing materials for both scientific and general audiences.

Production Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce marketing content and materials for print, digital, online advertising, industry publications, and other promotional channels.
• Write and edit clear, engaging, and scientifically accurate articles, product descriptions, advertisements, brochures, and other marketing communications.
• Translate complex scientific and technical information into compelling content that is accessible to customers and relevant target audiences.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Scientific, Product, and Regulatory teams to develop effective marketing materials.
• Coordinate the production and delivery of print and digital marketing materials, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage project timelines, external vendors, budgets, and production processes.
• Ensure all marketing content is accurate, consistent with brand guidelines, and aligned with applicable company and regulatory requirements.
• Support product launches, marketing campaigns, trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
• Review and proofread marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and scientific content.
• Work with internal subject-matter experts to gather and verify technical and scientific information for marketing communications.

Production Marketing Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other scientific industries.
• Strong Science or Life Sciences background with the ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to write and create articles, advertising copy, product content, and other marketing materials for advertising and promotional media.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Ability to transform complex scientific information into clear, engaging, and customer-focused marketing content.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with Marketing, Sales, Scientific, and Regulatory teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint; experience with content management, design, email marketing, or digital marketing platforms is a plus.
• Experience working with advertising agencies, publishers, printers, or other marketing vendors is a plus.
