• Train with senior operations managers to lead your own production facility.
• Learn production workflow and lean methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Learn boilers, hydraulics, and plant equipment.
• Develop production scoring, inventory control, and cost-control initiatives.
• Complete progress reports and participate in management development workshops.
• Move into a Production Manager role at one of 25 facilities with growth to General/ District Manager.

Mission Linen Supply has immediate opportunities for Production Manager Trainees in state-of-the-art operating plants across California and Arizona. This program places high-potential new managers on a track for career opportunities in production and general management.

This is not a typical entry-level position. We want managers who are ready to learn our industry, understand our customer base, and lead and motivate a successful team. Industry experience is not required; we're looking for dynamic individuals with leadership potential and a strong business and customer orientation.

• Base salary: $72,384+, based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment

The Opportunity

This is a fast-track, nine-month program in which you're trained by the highest-ranking operations managers in the company to lead your own production facility. In less than one year, you'll learn what most of our production and service staff take five years to learn.

Relocation requirement: relocation is required. All candidates must be willing to relocate during or after training to manage their own team within the first 3 years of the program.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Train with the highest-ranking operations managers in the company to lead your own production facility
• Learn production workflow utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques
• Learn boilers, hydraulics, and plant equipment
• Learn production scoring methods, inventory control, quality control initiatives, and cost control
• Complete progress reports with our learning and development department and participate in company-sponsored management development workshops
• Upon completion, move into a Production Manager position at one of our 25 facilities, with the opportunity to grow into General Manager or District Manager

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Four-year college degree highly desired; military experience welcomed
• Willingness to relocate during or after training to manage your own team within the first 3 years of the program (required)
• A strong business and customer orientation
• Demonstrated leadership potential, intelligence, commitment, and a genuine willingness to learn
• Education and experience that show a track record of taking initiative and following through
