Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Production Staff - Garment Finisher to support industrial laundry production flow under supervision. No prior laundry experience required; must be able to stand long periods and lift 25–50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment
• Process laundry in plant-established lot order
• Maintain production floor distribution
• Shake, sort by route, and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing
• Classify and lay out items for pressing (industrial shirts vs. executive shirts)
• Separate soil pick-up tickets
• Check items for needed repairs
• Lift garments/linen onto line storage
• Trolley garments/linen for truck pick-up
• Load trollies into trailers
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Additional duties as assigned

Mission Linen Supply is currently accepting online applications for Production Staff - Garment Finisher. Production Staff are responsible for industrial laundry production flow activities under the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager of the operating plant.

No prior industrial laundry experience is required. You'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and regularly lift and/or move 25-50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (required)
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
• Work environment: regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; noise level is usually loud
