Job summary

Mission Linen Supply offers Production Manager Trainee positions in state-of-the-art plants across California and Arizona. This nine-month fast-track program places high-potential individuals under top operations managers to learn and lead a production facility and advance into general management.

Relocation is required during or after training to manage a team within the first three years. No prior industry experience is required, but a strong business and customer orientation and leadership

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree highly desired; military experience welcomed.
• Willingness to relocate during or after training to manage your own team within the first 3 years of the program (required).
• Strong business and customer orientation; demonstrated leadership potential and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Train with senior operations managers to lead your own production facility.
• Learn production workflow using Lean Six Sigma techniques.
• Learn boilers, hydraulics, and plant equipment.
• Learn production scoring methods, inventory control, quality control initiatives, and cost control.
• Complete progress reports with learning and development and participate in management workshops.
• After completion, move into a Production Manager role at one of 25 facilities with potential to become General Manager or District Manager.

Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply has immediate opportunities for Production Manager Trainees in state-of-the-art operating plants across California and Arizona. This program places high-potential new managers on a track for career opportunities in production and general management.

This is not a typical entry-level position. We want managers who are ready to learn our industry, understand our customer base, and lead and motivate a successful team. Industry experience is not required; we're looking for dynamic individuals with leadership potential and a strong business and customer orientation.

Compensation

• Base salary: $72,384+, based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment

The Opportunity

This is a fast-track, nine-month program in which you're trained by the highest-ranking operations managers in the company to lead your own production facility. In less than one year, you'll learn what most of our production and service staff take five years to learn.

Relocation requirement: relocation is required. All candidates must be willing to relocate during or after training to manage their own team within the first 3 years of the program.

• Complete progress reports with our learning and development department and participate in company-sponsored management development workshops
• Upon completion, move into a Production Manager position at one of our 25 facilities, with the opportunity to grow into General Manager or District Manager
