Production Manager – Textiles/PPE

Location

Brooklyn, NY (100% On-Site)

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday day shift

Compensation

120,000 – 150,000+ USD per year (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality masks, gowns, and other protective apparel.
• Manage workforce scheduling, training, and performance for all production teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Monitor key production metrics and implement continuous improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Work closely with design, QA, and procurement teams to align production schedules with overall business goals.
• Ensure rigorous equipment maintenance, maintain a safe workplace, and guarantee full compliance with OSHA and relevant PPE manufacturing standards/regulations.
• Act as primary point of contact for production issues, resolving them quickly to minimize costly downtime.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in production management within the apparel, textiles, PPE, or medical device manufacturing industries.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale production teams in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, OSHA regulations, and relevant PPE manufacturing standards.
• A self‑starter with the ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and drive continuous improvement.
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York area (100% in‑person requirement).
• Bi‑lingual skills (Spanish or Chinese) are a significant plus, but not required.
