Job summary

Cps4jobs, on behalf of our client in the Greater New York area, seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety, product quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will oversee multiple shifts, enforce EHS programs, uphold the quality management system, and optimize plant performance through strong leadership and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 6+ years in a manufacturing environment including production/plant management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• No visa sponsorship available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing department operations across multiple shifts.
• Implement and enforce environmental, health, safety, and security programs to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
• Maintain the highest standards of product quality and oversee the quality management system within production operations.
• Ensure policies and procedures are effectively implemented to optimize plant performance and achieve key operational metrics.
• Develop a strong understanding of departmental operations to troubleshoot issues, remove roadblocks, and identify and implement process improvements.
