Job summary

Cutler Building & Remodeling, Inc. in Milford, MA is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our residential remodeling production team and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

You will mentor Project Managers and field crews, oversee multiple active projects, refine production processes, and partner with preconstruction to prep work before construction begins. This is a full-time role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of residential remodeling or custom home construction experience.
• 3+ years leading Project Managers, Superintendents, or production teams.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and jobsite operations.
• Experience with construction management software; JobTread and CompanyCam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Project Managers, Assistant PMs, carpenters, and production staff.
• Oversee multiple residential remodeling projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Manage production scheduling, staffing, and workload planning.
• Resolve escalated field issues and remove roadblocks for project teams.
• Monitor budgets, job costs, change orders, and profitability.
• Maintain safety, documentation, quality, and jobsite professionalism.

Production Manager - Residential Remodeling

$115,000-$125,000 + Performance Bonus

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team and oversee the successful execution of residential remodeling projects. You'll provide leadership to our Project Managers and field teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the quality standards our clients expect.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, carpenters, and production staff
• Oversee multiple residential remodeling projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Manage company-wide production scheduling, staffing, and workload planning
• Support Project Managers by resolving escalated field issues and removing roadblocks
• Partner with the preconstruction team to ensure projects are fully prepared before construction begins
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, change orders, and profitability
• Maintain high standards for quality, safety, documentation, and jobsite professionalism
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and hold trade partners accountable for quality and performance
• Improve production processes, reporting, and operational efficiency to support continued growth
• Collaborate with company leadership to strengthen accountability, consistency, and project execution

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of residential remodeling or custom home construction experience
• 3+ years leading Project Managers, Superintendents, or production teams
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and jobsite operations
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
• Experience managing multiple active projects and production schedules
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with construction management software; JobTread experience is highly preferred and CompanyCam experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly to local jobsites
