Job summary

3Z Brands in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee mattress manufacturing operations onsite. The role focuses on leading the production team, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective output of high-quality mattresses.

The ideal candidate has strong lean manufacturing knowledge, is committed to safety, and will drive continuous improvement to hit ambitious production targets. Second shift: 4pm–1am, onsite at our OKC factory.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
• 5 years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage machine resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Oversee a growing workforce in mattress production.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity across product lines.
• Enforce health and safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Set production goals and communicate them to leadership.
• Provide motivation and guidance to employees.
• Escalate issues to senior management as needed.
• Design workflows to boost speed and maintain product integrity.
• Create staffing schedules for optimum coverage.

Job Summary

3Z Brands is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our mattress manufacturing operations at our OKC factory. The manager will be responsible for leading the production team, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the timely, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality mattresses that meet our exacting standards. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment while driving continuous improvement and achieving ambitious production targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
• Oversee a growing workforce of employees in manufacturing production
• Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines (PPE etc)
• Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to the key personnel
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
• Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations
• 5 years’ experience in supervisory capacity
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
