Job Summary
The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a passionate and creative full-time Manager of Production – Longform to collaborate with their in-house production team, 65 Toss Power Trap Productions. This role involves serving as a visual storyteller for long-form content, including the documentary series The Franchise.
Essential Accountabilities
- Oversee the production of The Franchise documentary series for the Chiefs' YouTube channel.
- Coordinate with the long-form producer(s) and editor(s) on meetings, shoots, and edits.
- Assist in reviewing and approving edits for The Franchise and other feature content.
- Lead as director of photography / lead camera operator, capturing storytelling imagery during location shoots, interviews, practices, games, and events.
- Drive the ideation, pre-production, and post-production processes for all long-form content.
- Manage post-production workflows and content delivery to internal and external distributors.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to assemble, edit, color correct, format, and export videos from start to finish.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technology, and techniques to enhance productions.
- Use Chiefs' media asset management software (Iconik) for footage organization.
- Work independently or collaboratively on projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of high-level long-form content production experience.
- Experience with cinema cameras such as ARRI Alexa series, DJI Ronin 4D.
- Knowledge of post-production workflows including proxy, color grading, and audio mixing.
- Ability to measure and apply digital content success metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of production equipment and processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid.
- Strong communication and learning skills.
- Organized, dependable, and versatile.
- Skills in Adobe After Effects / Photoshop are a plus.
- Experience in sports production or with sports teams is preferred.
Requirements
- Perform light office duties.
- Lift and carry equipment weighing 50-75 lbs periodically.
- Understanding of NFL rules, gameplay, and players.
- Effective organizational and time management skills for multiple projects.
- Team player willing to learn, travel, and work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during games.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
