Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a Production/Facilities Leader to oversee staffing in the Production Department and step in for the Facility Manager when needed.

You will coordinate with production staff, prioritize and delegate workloads, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the operation in a fast-paced facility in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Previous management/supervisory experiences a must.
• Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written and verbal.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand.
• Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in his/her absence.
• Serve as liaison between the production personnel and staff on matters of communication, decisions, and policies.
• Prioritizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of methods and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules and regulations, providing a safe and clean workplace and complying with all regulatory agencies by leading by example and following up.
• Participate and support food safety auditing in a timely manner.
• Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.
