Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Production Manager to oversee plant activities, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and ensure on-time order fulfillment. You will delegate authority to supervisors and staff to meet objectives in a cost-effective manner.

The role requires at least 5+ years in production management in manufacturing, strong leadership, scheduling and process optimization, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team.
• Experience with scheduling, production planning, and process optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead daily production operations.
• Supervise, train, and develop production supervisors, leads, and operators.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams, as well as other departments.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee staffing levels, time management, and employee performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Track and report key performance indicators (OEE, scrap, downtime, etc.).
