Job summary

Tuff Shed Inc. is seeking a Production Foreman to coordinate fabrication, manage schedules, and lead a safety-conscious Prefab team. The role emphasizes quality and efficiency while maintaining PPE and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in an industrial setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to read drawings and cut sheets to ensure builds meet Tuff Shed specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred and acceptable.
• Supervisory or trades background in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read cut sheets, product drawings, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule fabrication assignments.
• Ensure work meets quality, productivity, and safety specs.
• Review schedules and labor needs with supervisor and Shop Specialist.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and tools by certified employees.
• Enforce PPE policies and housekeeping standards.
• Lead daily production team meetings.
• Oversee material handling, inventory, and cycle counts.
• Provide direction and training to Prefab team, address deficiencies.
• Communicate results and staffing needs to management.
