Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Production Manager to oversee our lawn and garden products manufacturing facility in Pageland, SC. You will monitor key metrics, safety, production flow, and material costs, leading a team to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Onsite role with standard hours, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), disability and health cover. The position offers an annual salary in the 65k–72k range with potential bonus.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years manufacturing management experience.
• Experience training employees: planning, assigning and directing work.
• Excellent multitasking, analytical and communication skills.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines, equipment, and tools, including repair and maintenance.
• Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements to ensure non-stop, safe, profitable production.
• Know raw materials and processes to meet schedules.
• Oversee inventory, labor, production efficiency, cost controls.
• Provide leadership, assess performance, schedule and direct operations.
• Ensure workplace safety and enforce standards and programs.
