Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Production Manager to guide our lawn and garden products manufacturing facility in Pageland, SC. The role focuses on safety, production flow, and cost management to sustain profitable operations.

You will monitor metrics, lead staff, and ensure quality and timely production while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. This position requires hands-on leadership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree, and/or equivalent combination(s) of education, industry experience and training.
• 2+ years manufacturing management experience.
• Must have skills in training employees: planning, assigning and directing work.
• Must have excellent multi-tasking, analytical and communication skills.
• Must have mechanical knowledge of machines, equipment, and tools, including repair and maintenance.
• Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment and machinery.

Description

GardenCore is looking for a Production Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to support all aspects of a fast-paced lawn & garden products manufacturing facility. Daily duties include monitoring key metrics, safety, production flow and material costs.

The GardenCore Production Manager will work onsite in Pageland, SC.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule

• 6:00AM - 4:30PM / Monday - Friday
• 6:00AM - 12:00PM on Saturdays

Compensation

• Annual salary of $65,000 - $72,000 per year
