Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our poultry processing operations, directing production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality functions on a daily basis. You will align department goals with efficiency, yield, and cost targets, while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

The role requires 5+ years in poultry/food production with at least 3 years in supervision, plus strong leadership and communication abilities to drive performance across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the poultry/food industry, with at least 3 in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with operational and processing management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct supervision of our further processing production operations.
• Coordinate production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, shipping and receiving areas.
• Monitor performance of each department to meet production efficiency, yield and quality goals.
• Set objectives and review shift's performance versus objectives.
• Encourage subordinates to find ways to reduce cost.
• Ensure sanitation meets USDA standards.
