Job summary

You will train staff, schedule manpower and equipment, monitor safety, quality, and costs, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 3+ years in supervision, experience in poultry or food industries preferred, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
• Leadership experience with 20+ employees.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Availability for assigned hours/days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Trains and provides an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity.
• Plans and schedules manpower, materials, product and machines to optimize use of policies for safety, quality, and satisfaction.
• Manages employee performance with feedback, positive or corrective.
• Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive communication and involvement.
• Investigates quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and maintenance with other departments; offers suggestions.
• Promotes safety throughout the work area.
