Conagra Brands in Hawaii seeks a Production Manager to oversee a high‑volume department, manage salaried plant staff, and direct operations to achieve quality products cost‑effectively while upholding a safe work environment.

The role emphasizes leading production lines on 1st and 2nd shifts, coordinating with maintenance and engineering, sharing metrics, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving continuous improvement across safety, cost, and quality metrics.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field from a four-year college or university.
• Four to six years related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the food industry.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee production line management to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications and meet production, usage, and labor goals.
• Promote a culture of engagement and responsibility with human and food safety with hourly employees through compliance of OSHA regulations and compliance policies.
• Promote continuous improvement in production process to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality.
• Coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering to ensure plant goals are obtained.
• Share metrics with front‑line supervisors to promote continuous improvement.
• Responsible for operation performance on 1st and 2nd shift production.
• Allocate labor to exceed Company standards.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the plant production areas.
• Ensure workforce is trained in job requirements.
• Ensure flow of important information to all levels and shifts of plant management.
• Monitor correct ingredient usage at plant standards while maintaining quality goals.
• Report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.
• Interface and collaborate with departments of Human Resources, Finance, Lean Supply, etc.

Educación

B.S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field from a four-year college or university.
