The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a qualified Manager, Production to oversee manufacturing processes at either our Omaha or Des Moines Office. This high-responsibility role drives production performance, quality, safety and cost control across the plant.

Candidates should have 10+ years in production with 3-5 years in leadership, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field. No travel is required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Manager, Production. This position could be located in either our Omaha or Des Moines Office.

Responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process within a company, ensuring that production meets quality and efficiency standards while staying within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Production Success: Drives production to ensure successful outcomes in production units and quality, working in conjunction with the department manager to measure success via identified metrics.
• Production Goals: Designs, creates, and drives production goals by creating metrics and measuring performance.
• Management Deliverables: Creates the logistics, scheduling, and the delivery of the product in a cost-effective manner, ensuring timely delivery and field installation requirements.
• Quality Control: Identifies and implements quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality and consistency.
• Cost Management: Drives implementation of lean manufacturing processes. Monitors inventory and production costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Safety Management: Develops and implements safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Conducts regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Promotes a culture of safety awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
