The Waldinger Corporation seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001 certification and help shape the companys quality strategy across Des Moines or Omaha operations.

You will oversee internal audits, drive corrective actions, analyze data for process improvement, and train staff to sustain a culture of quality. This role reports to the quality leadership and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5-7 years of ISO 9001 or other quality management system experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or relevant certifications preferred.
• Occasional Travel.

Description

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Quality Assurance Manager in either our Des Moines or Omaha Office.

Job Summary

Leads the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our quality assurance certification while also contributing to the development of the company’s quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Audits: Ensures ongoing compliance with ISO standards by leading internal audits, maintaining documentation, and facilitating corrective actions to uphold certification requirements.
• Production Oversight: Conducts walk throughs of production areas to ensure strict adherence to established processes and procedures, maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
• Nonconforming Data: Analyzes nonconforming data to identify root causes, and drives the development and implementation of effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develops, tracks, and reports key quality metrics.
• Manufacturing Standards: Demonstrates a deep understanding of relevant manufacturing standards and integrate them into daily operations to ensure compliance and quality. Maintains the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulatory standards and company goals. Advances our ISO 9001 Quality Management System(QMS) to other operating units or branches. Conducts quality training programs for staff and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
• Statistical Analysis: Uses statistical tools and data analysis to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement, implementing data-driven solutions to enhance product quality.
