Job summary

FAM Brands in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee apparel production from order allocation to shipping. You will collaborate with design, sales, logistics, QA, and packaging teams to hit milestones and ensure quality while managing vendor communications with overseas partners.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in apparel production, is highly organized, and experienced with import processes (FOB/DDP) and Centric PLM.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of demonstrable experience in Apparel Production.
• Must be self-managing and exceptionally organized.
• Understanding of FOB / DDP and import processes.
• APAC production experience and familiarity with multiple time zones.
• Licensed apparel experience is required.
• Experience with Centric PLM preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production T&A Calendar from Order Allocation through Shipping.
• Collaborate with Design, Sales, Technical Design, Logistics, Packaging, QA & Order Management to meet milestones.
• Own styles by updating Centric, AS400 and Excel WIPs.
• Join internal fitting sessions designated by Brand as needed.
• Review/Approve Bulk Fabric, Trims, Packaging, Folding, and Carton Markings.
• Own vendor communication with overseas partners.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues to stay on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Production T&A Calendar from Order Allocation through Shipping.
• Partner with all cross functional teams to meet milestones including, but not limited to Design, Sales, Technical Design, Logistics, Packaging, QA & Order Management.
• Own your styles by constantly updating Centric, AS400 and Excel WIPs.
• Join internal fitting sessions designated by Brand as needed.
• Review/Approve items such as Bulk Fabric, Trims, Packaging, Folding, and Carton Markings.
• Own Vendor Communication with our Overseas Partners.
• Identify and Trouble Shoot through potential issues in order to stay on schedule.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of demonstrable experience in Apparel Production.
• Must be self-managing.
• Understanding of FOB / DDP.
• Exceptionally organized with strong time management and multi-tasking ability.
• Think outside the box - initiative takers and collaborative team members.
• Extensive Import Experience / Different Time Zones.
• Current APAC production experience is required.
• Licensed Apparel Experience is a requirement.
• Must be familiar with using a PLM, Centric preferred.
