Aerotek is seeking a Production Manager for the 2nd shift in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will lead 30+ associates across production, sanitation, and warehouse, ensuring safety, quality, and timely issue resolution on the floor.

The Production Manager 2nd Shift oversees a fast-paced food manufacturing operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role leads a team of production employees, manages performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
Lead and manage a team of 30+ associates within production, sanitation, and warehouse employees on 2nd shift, providing clear direction, accountability, coaching, feedback, performance reviews, development, and training.
Monitor the production process on the floor, utilizing RedZone and direct engagement with the area team to ensure efficient operations and timely issue resolution.
Escalate production issues according to established escalation criteria and communicate status updates promptly to relevant stakeholders.
Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to meet departmental schedules and optimize the use of manpower and equipment, achieving OEE efficiencies and driving continual improvement.
Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including interviewing potential team members, planning and scheduling, safety reporting, Kronos timekeeping, and other system entries.
Ensure product specifications are consistently met and immediately alert production management and quality assurance when product quality is in question.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a production environment.
Bilingual in English & Spanish
At least 1 year of experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Demonstrated production supervision experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and sanitation practices in food manufacturing facilities.
Strong organizational skills to effectively plan, schedule, and delegate work assignments.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
Practical knowledge of HACCP and sanitation practices in food processing operations.
Strong supervisory skills with a focus on coaching, feedback, and employee development.

This role is based on 2nd shift with hours Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed. The position operates in a GMP-controlled food manufacturing environment where hair nets, beard nets, hard hats, smocks, steel-toe footwear, and safety glasses are required.
This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
This is a fully onsite position in Waukesha,WI.
