Actalent is hiring a Production Supervisor for the night shift in Elgin, IL, monitoring operations from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning. You will lead production operators, drive daily performance, ensure safety and quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication, and familiarity with Lean/5S practices. This contract-to-hire position is onsite in Elgin, IL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production teams and managing schedules/workflow.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience preferred.
• Experience working with union employees is a plus.
• Engineering education preferred but not required.

Join a leading manufacturing team as a Production Supervisor overseeing night shift operations (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning). In this role, you'll lead a team of production operators, drive daily production performance, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
