Job summary

Searchmasters Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to lead daily operations in an Automotive and Aerospace thread coating environment.

You will directly supervise 7 technicians and maintenance staff, drive lean manufacturing on the floor, and push continuous improvement to cut waste and improve productivity. The role requires at least five years of supervisory experience with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong command of KPIs, metrics, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Preference for candidates with Automotive or Aerospace industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives within an Automotive and Aerospace thread coating environment.
• Directly supervise a team of 7 direct reports, including Process Technicians and Maintenance Technicians.
• Operate as a hands-on leader on the production floor, actively driving lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, minimize waste, and increase operational efficiencies.
