Job summary

Search Masters, an automotive components manufacturer in Ohio, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead both engineering and maintenance teams across the facility.

You will champion lean manufacturing, oversee capital projects and budgets, and drive KPI attainment while mentoring three direct reports and shaping maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; familiarity with ERP/SAP software is highly preferred.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and project management is essential.
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all manufacturing engineering and maintenance personnel across the facility.
• Champion lean manufacturing to reduce scrap and waste.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects, equipment upgrades, budgets, and P&L performance.
• Directly supervise three reports including one Manufacturing Engineer and two Maintenance employees.
• Drive plant KPI achievement and improve production metric goals for the Tier 2 automotive facility.

Key Requirements
