Vestas in Windsor, CO is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, delivering the production plan safely, efficiently, and with high quality. You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people (SQDCP) performance, drive governance, disciplined execution, and a continuous improvement mindset.
You will develop the production team, support problem-solving and Kaizen efforts, and ensure adherence to Vestas standards, HSE requirements, and regulatory obligations.
The Production Manager leads daily manufacturing operations to deliver the production plan safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role is accountable for performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people (SQDCP), ensuring solid governance, disciplined execution, and a continuous improvement mindset. The Manager builds the skills of the production team, supports problem-solving and Kaizen efforts, and ensures adherence to all Vestas standards, HSE requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, typically around 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though there is some flexibility depending on operational needs. Earlier start times (e.g., 6:00 AM) may be preferred when possible. The role requires oversight across all four shifts in the facility, including day and night shifts as well as front-half and back-half of the week schedules. Shift transitions occur at approximately 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for occasional on-call responsibilities and potential weekend coverage as business needs arise.
