Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Second shift Production Manager for a manufacturing company in the Springfield, SD area! They will be responsible to manage, lead, coordinate the assembly/test, service and shipping departments.

This is a Monday-Thursday position - 3:30pm - 3am...with occasional Fridays. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be open to shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer-focused operations from assembly and testing through shipping and service.
• Lead customer service initiatives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and achievement of business objectives.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand, delivery targets, inventory goals, and throughput requirements.
• Collaborate with Production Control to resolve scheduling priorities and production challenges.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of MRP data and planning parameters.
• Coach, develop, and promote the growth of team members within your area of responsibility.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage systems and processes that support efficient product shipment and order fulfillment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and employee productivity.
• Support ISO standards, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key performance metrics and drive actions to improve quality, delivery, cost, and service results.
