Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Production Manager in Seattle, WA to lead and develop manufacturing teams, drive lean initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control within a fast-paced plant environment.

Key responsibilities include developing production strategies, monitoring KPIs, and coaching staff to achieve operational targets while maintaining GMP and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have a strong production background.
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Ability to interface with regulatory employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to supervisors and production teams while fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term production and plant strategies.
• Optimize production performance through Lean Manufacturing principles, technology, and operational efficiencies.
• Manage labor, waste, supplies, throughput, and operating costs to achieve budget and profitability targets.
• Monitor KPIs and production metrics to ensure performance goals are met.
• Prepare operational reports, business cases, and management presentations.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, quality, and employee engagement.
• Enforce company policies and performance expectations consistently and fairly.
• Coach and develop direct reports through performance management, training, and succession planning.
• Build a high-performing team with cross-training and workforce development programs.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
