Position Overview

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role involves managing resources, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product excellence.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate supply chain activities to prevent shortages or excess.
• Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage budgets related to production activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve production issues promptly and effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrated ability in Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in Team Leadership and Project Management.
• Familiarity with Safety Compliance regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
