Job Title: Production Manager – Trade Show & Event Industry

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager with extensive experience in the trade show, events, or custom fabrication. This leadership role is critical to ensuring that all projects are executed excellently—from initial concept to completion. You will oversee and coordinate the efforts of project managers, estimators, shop supervisors, and CAD detailers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cross-functional teams including Project Management, Estimating, Shop Supervision, and CAD Detailing.
• Lead the production process from design to fabrication to completion.
• Ensure all deliverables are produced on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Manage workload planning, capacity forecasting, and production timelines.
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to align production capabilities with client expectations.
• Implement and refine production processes, quality control protocols, and safety standards.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to department leads; support professional growth and team cohesion.
• Track and report on key performance metrics; identify and act on areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively to avoid delays and maintain quality.
• Lead regular production meetings and status updates to keep all stakeholders informed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a production or fabrication leadership role, preferably within the trade show, live events, or custom environments industry.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and shop operations.
• Experience overseeing CAD detailing, estimating, and project execution.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with a strong focus on efficiency and quality control.
• Proficient in production management tools/software
