Job summary

Mural-Group in Millington, TN is seeking a Production Manager to own all site manufacturing activities, including planning, scheduling, workforce leadership, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will lead a team of production supervisors, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, manage budgets, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to meet throughput and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production or operations management in heavy industrial or process manufacturing.
• Experience leading multiple supervisors and owning planning, scheduling, and budgets.
• Quality management experience: ISO compliance or equivalent QMS.
• Safety program leadership; CI/Lean Six Sigma is a strong plus.

Overview

You will own all manufacturing activities at the site: production planning and scheduling, workforce leadership, quality management, safety culture, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of production supervisors and are expected to be a genuine operator who understands the floor as well as the numbers.

• Manage and develop a team of production supervisors; own their performance and development


• Lead production planning and scheduling; hold budget accountability at the production level


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)


• Own the safety culture on the production floor and enforce compliance with environmental and OSHA requirements


• Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of production or operations management in a heavy industrial, chemical, or process manufacturing environment


• Experience leading multiple supervisors, not just a direct crew


• Direct ownership of production planning, scheduling, and budget


• Quality management experience: root cause analysis, ISO compliance, or equivalent QMS


• Demonstrated safety program leadership


• Lean/Six Sigma or CI project experience is a strong plus
