Job summary

Santa Rita Landscaping Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to supervise field staff, manage client jobs, and ensure high quality work is performed profitably.

You will follow safety standards, coordinate with crew leads and account managers, and optimize scheduling in Aspire for efficient routing. The role requires leadership with at least two years' commercial landscaping experience at foreman level or higher, and preference for a horticulture degree or Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turf grass science, landscape technology or related field preferred but not required.
• Functional proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crew members, the public and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure high quality work, meet client requirements and fulfill them profitably.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain operations and meet safety standards.
• Coordinate with Crew Leads and Account Managers to meet client expectations.
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire to reflect efficient routing for each crew.
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire and ensure accurate paperwork flow between field and office.

• Use your knowledge of landscape maintenance, landscape equipment, and labor & quality control to boost the overall success of the branch
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials
• Monitor and maintain Labor Budgets along with other direct and indirect costs to ensure Income from Operations is met
• Work closely with Crew Leads and Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met
• Work with Shop Manager and Account Manager to assure proper equipment and material is ready for upcoming jobs
• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company culture and safety
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire to reflect the most efficient routing for each crew
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire
• Provide accurate and timely paperwork flow between field and office
