Job summary

Mullin in New Orleans is seeking an experienced landscape professional to lead crews and uphold high-quality standards. You will partner with the Operations Manager to maximize crew routes and hours, inspect sites for quality, and train team members in horticulture and equipment techniques.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years with a professional landscape firm, a degree in horticulture (preferred), knowledge of southern climate practices, and a valid Driver's License (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with a professional landscape management firm.
• Degree in Horticulture or related major preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of southern climate horticultural practices.
• Spanish knowledge a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Works with all crews to ensure the same level of quality is maintained
• Enforces safety policies across operations
• Collaborates with Operations Manager to maximize crew routes and hours
• Monitors the quality of work by inspecting job sites
• Trains and develops team members in proper horticulture and equipment techniques
• Manages crew equipment inventory and repair issues
• Communicates effectively via phone, email, text and face to face meetings with clients, vendors and internal team member

• Strong horticulture knowledge and license is preferred
• Three to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm
• Knowledge of southern climate horticultural practices and high-level property maintenance experience a plus
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Must have a valid Drivers License
